Two pedestrians die in North Texas accidents

Two pedestrians were hit by vehicles in separate incidents on North Texas highways on Wednesday, August 13, leading to their untimely deaths, The Dallas Morning News reported.

Thirty-seven-year-old Shanta Martin died at around 4:45 a.m. on Interstate 35W near Alta Mesa Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas. Fort Worth police are investigating her case.

Meanwhile, a Tarrant County medical examiner identified the body of a man killed on Interstate 30 near Ballpark Way in Arlington as 24-year-old Jay Wolf, who was walking along the highway when he was struck by a vehicle. This accident occurred hours before the Fort Worth incident, and police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Wolf’s death.

Both drivers remained at the scene and called the police after the pedestrians were struck.

The attorneys at theĀ Woodson Law Firm offer their deepest condolences to the friends and family suffering during this difficult time.
